My Story
Hi, my name is Twila Howzer-Lockhart. I am the owner and cake artist for Simply D'vine Desserts.

​Simply D'vine Desserts is a product of faith, a divine gift and a community of supportive clients. I started baking after being laid off of my corporate job of 15 years. Although I had many accomplishments in the corporate world, I desired an artistic ability that would allow me to be self sufficient. So, I prayed and God answered with the gift of baking. My journey began with baking for family and friends, grew into cake design and eventually my own baking business.

What I enjoy most about baking is taking an individual's personality and vision and translating it into a beautiful and delicious experience they are excited to share and will remember for years to come.

My goal is to create desserts that are not overly sweet so my clients can enjoy them in their entirety. That means no scraping off the icing! My icing is often called “eat with a spoon delicious." I am known for creating custom designs that are not only visually stunning, but taste amazing as well.
